WHAT WE DISCUSSED
Manufacturing in 2025 is not for the faint-hearted. Supply chains are fragile, energy shocks are rising, and sustainability mandates are non-negotiable. Cybersecurity risks grow with IT/OT convergence, while workforce skill gaps—particularly in AI—remain a key challenge. At the same time, AI is redefining forecasting, risk modeling, and operational decision-making.
This roundtable brought together leaders from DACH’s top industrial innovators to explore how AI is reshaping what’s possible. Expect an honest, peer-level exchange on what’s working, what’s stalling, and what’s next—no sales pitch, just candid insights from those transforming operations from reactive to predictive.
We Discussed:
- AI for Resilience & Agile Supply Chains – Predict disruptions, optimize carbon footprint, nearshoring, multi-sourcing, risk modeling, and AI-driven scenario planning.
- Scaling AI Across Operations – Overcoming data silos, modernizing legacy systems, and moving from pilots to enterprise-wide adoption.
- Cyber-Physical Security & Compliance – Securing digital supply chains and leveraging AI for anomaly detection and regulatory compliance.
- Workforce & Future Outlook – Reskilling, change management, balancing human expertise with automation, and envisioning AI-powered factories of 2030.
