Local hiring managers trying to stay ahead of employee turnover are not making good hourly worker hires. Often they just hire the applicant who can start right away. Large numbers of applications are never even reviewed by managers busy running their stores.
This situation is largely accepted as a “cost of doing business”, but should it be? In this session, we discussed how companies are re-imagining their hourly talent acquisition processes to hire better employees who will stay longer. We looked into the various technologies companies are leveraging to make better hires and why they work (or don’t).

A lot of other conferences I’ve gone to are driven off a podium, someone presenting me a solution before they understand my problem. Here I have an opportunity to talk to my peers and learn from them.
I’m not part of some enormous crowd out there. I’m getting lot of interaction, hearing from people, their own personal stories. Individual examples of how people are leveraging their CX skills in their industry, in their business, in the work that they do everyday.
