WHAT WE WILL DISCUSS

This intimate, off-the record executive roundtable brings together security leaders from different industries to discuss why asset discovery alone hasn’t delivered the outcomes teams expected. You’ll also hear what your peers are doing differently.

We’ll discuss what security leaders are learning about exposure, prioritization, and action across IT, IoT, and OT

Asimly CEO Shankar Somasundaram will moderate a discussion about these topics:

    • Why is segmentation a top priority every single year but never gets solved
    • Why inventory and visibility are good first steps but not enough to get zero trust started
    • Where traditional controls break down for non-standard devices
    • What’s changing as connected network environments blend IT, IoT, and OT

SOLUTION EXPERT

Shankar Somasundaram

Founder and CEO of Asimily

Shankar Somasundaram is the Founder and CEO of Asimily, a cybersecurity company focused on reducing risk across connected devices in complex environments. After years in senior roles at Symantec, Shankar saw a growing gap in how organizations secured IoT and operational devices — systems that were increasingly critical, difficult to patch, and largely underserved by traditional security tools. In 2017, he founded Asimily with an initial focus on medical devices in hospitals, one of the most demanding environments where security failures carry real-world consequences. Today, Asimily supports organizations across healthcare and other industries, helping security teams move beyond asset visibility to prioritize and reduce meaningful cyber risk without disrupting operations.
