Combat Oracle Java Price Changes
Networking Dinner
at Taj Lands End,
Mumbai
Successfully held on 25th April 2024
Here’s what we discussed:
If you’re looking for a way around Oracle’s high Java licensing fees, this executive dinner and networking session will be a good use of your time. The Azul Java team will take you through real-world examples of how (and why) customers have shifted from Oracle Java to open-source alternatives like Azul.
Topics we explored included:
- An alternative to Oracle Java which will lower your OPEX by up to 70%
- Mitigate open-source vulnerabilities to help meet cybersecurity obligations
- Alleviate financial exposure due to changes to Oracle Java licensing and pending audits
This invitation-only executive roundtable dinner and networking event in Mumbai featured subject matter experts from Azul. We invited a select group of IT and Security leaders currently paying Oracle for commercial support and considering switching from the Oracle JDK to another distribution of OpenJDK. Oracle Java SE users not on OCI or running in on-prem data centers also found this roundtable interesting.
