Here’s what we discussed:

Digital channel banking’s next frontier is a real-time, contextual, customized user experience delivering insights that matter to your customers and positively impact their financial wellness. If your bank is not on this track then you risk digital banking irrelevancy. Banks have all the data they need about their customers, we show you how it can be used. The days of just delivering transactional, historical, or personal financial management information on the web or mobile device have come and gone. Today’s digital customers expect real-time personalized solutions designed with easy-to-implement calls to action.

In this roundtable, we discussed how progressive banks and fintechs are changing the customer engagement paradigm. We also discussed how actionable insights, through data visualization, nudges, and notifications, can help your customers improve their financial wellness while driving meaningful and tangible benefits to your bank.

Solution Expert

David Gibbard
Head Cyberbank Digital Product Management at Technisys

Here is what we learned:

Misti Mostiller, Director of Consumer Banking & Enterprise Innovation, Extraco Bank

Extraco is a family-owned bank between Dallas and Austin with about $2 billion in assets. Although her primary role is managing their 15 retail lobbies, Mostiller is now evolved into working on digital transformation strategies.
Mostiller said she believes the customer experience can never be greater than the employee experience. Meaning they must work to keep their employees engaged and dialed in to help drive digital change and there needs to be training and other investment in good outcomes from them.

John Harris, GM Omni Channel USAA Life Insurance, USAA

As they develop their omnichannel, USAA is focusing on a mobile first platform. The company goal is to be the leading mutual insurer and they are always thinking about what that means in a mobile first organization, with robust goals in 2022 and a three-year plan.
