Here’s what we discussed:

Event-driven architecture (EDA) should be your next consideration in your digital transformation strategy. However, choosing the right approach and getting started on your EDA journey can be tricky.

In this Virtual Roundtable, we covered:
  • What you need to adopt and leverage event-driven architecture at scale.
  • A detailed evaluation of event management technologies.
  • Data Mesh meets Event Mesh for real time streaming and business insights.
  • A comparison of commercial event brokers vs. open-source options.
  • Insights on all the leading products and technologies in the space.

Moderated by

Here is what we learned:

Pranav Saxena, VP Product and Engineering (Consumer Experience & Services Design), Flipkart

He has seen problems with companies trying to transition to Cloud services and micro services and wonders what obstacles they will face adopting event-driven architecture.

Justin Goldberg, Head Of Engineering, BizCover.

BizCover started with its architecture a year and a half ago and went live with anew platform and was keen to hear to hear how other people have implemented theirs. His company has a monolithic system, very heavy on code that makes it difficult to recruit people to work on and hard to expand. They have opted for a microservice architecture in an AWS technology environment.
