Here’s what we discussed:

For most businesses, a network shut down is a nuisance. For a hospital, it means critical care can’t be delivered to those that need it. Unfortunately, shutting down the network is how many hospitals respond to a ransomware attack in lieu of having a real incident response plan that includes methods to identify, remediate, and mitigate the threat. With a recent wave of cyber-attacks increasingly targeting healthcare delivery organizations, it’s evident that many hospitals are ill prepared to deal with the impact and the proper response.

Our participants joined Fortinet and CyberMDX for an educational roundtable around incident response planning for hospitals, including identifying, remediating and mitigating threats. As an added incentive, our participants were entered into a draw to win a special prize.
