Here is what we learned:

Tanu Gulati, VP Of Strategy, Storms (Digital Games International Pte Ltd)

• Tanu said Storms has 2 focus areas within gaming: They are a publisher of hyper-casual games, and publishers of instant gaming that you would get in an app store. The instant gaming arm is B-to-B-to-C. They also work on gamification solutions for their clients.
• Tanu is trying to build a culture that will allow her programmers to trust her because she does not have the tech background but does have the strategy background.

Ion Mudreac, Director Head of Saas, Cloud Development, DevOps/SRE and Day1/2 Delivery, Singtel (SINGAPORE TELECOMMUNICATIONS LIMITED)

• Ion said that when the pandemic hit, it was hard to communicate with members of his teams.
• They did see a huge demand for its SaaS product as everyone started moving to the work-from-home space. The downside is that it takes customers 3-6 months to get adjusted and comfortable using that product.
• Had they had time to prepare, they would have started their pandemic journey earlier. They would have hired more engineers and would have been able to better test their SaaS product.
